Heavenly Father, before the day begins in earnest, I pause to say thank You. Thank You for the gift of sleep and the gift of waking. I know that not everyone has these things, and I don't take them for granted. Help me today to live with a grateful heart, to notice the good things I so often overlook in my hurry.
