Protect us from harm, calm our anxious thoughts, and grant us the rest we need. For those who are struggling tonight—those who are sick, lonely, afraid, or grieving—I ask for Your comfort. Be near to them in their pain. For those who are celebrating tonight—those who are filled with joy, gratitude, or hope—I ask for Your blessing. Let their happiness overflow. And for me, as I close my eyes, help me to trust that You never sleep. You are always awake, always watching, always caring. I don't have to carry the weight of the world on my shoulders, because You already hold it. Thank You for being my refuge and my strength. I rest tonight in Your peace.
