Merciful God, tonight I come to You with a heart that needs softening. Today I was hurt by someone's words or actions, and I'm struggling to let it go. I'm also aware of the ways I hurt others—through careless words, impatience, or neglect. I need Your help to forgive and to seek forgiveness. Help me to release the bitterness I'm holding onto. It's not serving me; it's only weighing me down. Help me to see the person who hurt me through Your eyes—as someone who is also struggling, also imperfect, also in need of grace. And help me to see myself through Your eyes—not as a failure, but as a beloved child who is still learning. Tonight, as I prepare for sleep, soften my heart. Let me wake tomorrow ready to extend the same mercy I have received from You. Thank You for Your endless patience with me.
